We’re looking for an A Bed Every Night (ABEN) Co-Ordinator to join our Temporary Accommodation team, to deliver a wrap around intensive support and project co-ordination for customers on the A Bed Every Night Programme
This is a varied role and your time will be spent facilitating the successful operational delivery of ABEN in Stockport, including outcome returns and financial monitoring, and liaising with GMCA to maintain a co-ordinated approach with the wider sub-regional programme.


In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support a diverse range of customers, assisting them into long term independent accommodation, inspiring people to make positive changes, realise their full potential and lead a fulfilled life.


Candidates for this role will have good understanding of the complex challenges for individuals who have experience of rough sleeping and the range of interdependencies that might present barriers to independent living and rehousing. You should have good communication skills and knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office applications. You will have the ability to build rapport, displaying persistence and resilience, and display leadership qualities such as skills of a strong negotiator, and ability to advocate and be diplomatic. Have confidence in challenging behaviour/resistance in others, work across Greater Manchester whilst working effectively with partner agencies and develop contacts and networks across a wide range of local services.
